About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the procurement of two GNSS directional antennas to support Global Navigation Satellite System missions at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center.
The contractor shall manufacture, test, and deliver two GNSS antennas specifically designed for the lunar environment. The antennas must be directional type with SMA female connectors and operate across dual frequency ranges: GPS L1 (1575.42 +/- 12.276 MHz) and GPS L5 (1176.45 +/- 10.23 MHz), with a minimum 15 dBi gain at boresight. Testing and quality requirements include environmental acceptance testing, workmanship verification, VSWR versus frequency analysis, spherical radiation patterns with 10-degree phi resolution continuous in theta, thermal vacuum cycling (8 cycles from -155°C to +135°C with low power and 1-hour dwells), random vibration testing (1 minute per axis per GEVS levels), and pre- and post-environmental electrical measurements of VSWR and radiation patterns. The contractor must provide a Certificate of Conformance with acceptance test data upon delivery. Manufacturing, assembly, and testing shall occur at the contractor's facility, with final delivery, inspection, and acceptance at NASA Goddard: Building 23, Room W211, 8800 Greenbelt Road, Greenbelt, Maryland 20771. All antennas and associated documentation must be delivered by July 20, 2027.
