About this file

This is a Statement of Work for the procurement of a VHX-X1 Digital Microscope system for NASA-Stennis Space Center. The microscope will serve as an automatic particle counter and digital microscope for valve repair operations in the Stennis Precision clean shop. The specified system includes a console/manual, external controller, high-performance 4K 12MP camera, motorized zoom lens with 20x to 200x magnification range, free-angle observation system with motorized Z-axis and 100mm motorized XY stage, lens joint holder, scale adapter, lens adapter with diffuser, NIST-certified calibration scale, and a VH support package.

The microscope must meet comprehensive technical requirements including 5-6000x magnification with motorized turret requiring no physical contact to change settings, automated lens crash protection, tilting capability up to 90 degrees, and no Bluetooth or wireless connectivity. Additional requirements include fully automated image setting replication with location and magnification memory, Quick Replay functionality for automated image capture with stitching and measurement capability on up to 99 sample locations without human intervention, multiple lighting modes (bright field, dark field, mixed, transmitted, polarization, cross polarization, and DIC), camera direction adjustment when tilted, compatibility with LIBS elemental analyzers on the same stage, support for multiple stages and lenses on a single controller, advanced optical-SEM lighting, focus tracking without human intervention during XY stage movement, and lifetime support included with purchase at no additional cost. Delivery is required to NASA-Stennis Space Center, Building 9166, Stennis Space Center, MS 39529.
