About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) summary from an RFQ addressing vendor inquiries regarding a SEEKER Pro-Full detection device procurement.

The procurement involves purchasing SEEKER Pro-Full units with 20 test cards and achieving ApexR7 compatibility for future integration, though the ApexR7 instrument itself is not included in this purchase. The requirement specifies delivery within 30 calendar days from award. Key clarifications provided include: small-business resellers may fulfill the requirement through DetectaChem or its distributor via the GSA Advantage contract, which has already undergone contract vetting and thus does not require additional manufacturer authorization documentation. For the test cards, the quantity of 20 per unit must be confirmed along with required card types and minimum shelf life specifications. Training and testing requirements are limited to baseline configuration and functional testing verification confirming proper operation of detection, connectivity, and data security features, supported by manufacturer-supplied technical manuals, quick-start guides, and user support materials. Formal training approval is not required. The government indicated it would verify device operation upon delivery before acceptance. The document does not specify overall contract value, final delivery address, or incorporated deviation texts, though the government invited vendors to request additional requirement clarification.

RFQ QUESTIONS

• May a small-business reseller fulfill the requirement through DetectaChem or its distributor, and does the nonmanufacturer rule apply? If so, is there an applicable SBA waiver?

• Please confirm the exact SEEKER Pro-Full part number/package, and whether 20 test cards means per unit or total, including required card types and minimum remaining shelf life.

• Does “within 30 days from procurement” mean 30 calendar days after award? Yes

• Please confirm that ApexR7 compatibility is required, but an ApexR7 instrument is not part of this purchase. Yes, this is required for future use integration.

• Are manufacturer configuration/testing records and digital familiarization materials sufficient? Yes, digital training guides is sufficient. What testing evidence and training approval are required? Basic testing confirming correct operation of the device and we will verify again upon delivery before acceptance. Training approval is not required. Hopefully, this answers your question…

Baseline configuration and functional testing verification, confirming proper operation of all detection, connectivity, and data security features.

Technical manuals, quick-start guides, and user support materials supplied by the manufacturer.

• Is manufacturer authorization or other reseller documentation required? Please also provide the exact incorporated deviation texts or their official links and the complete delivery address.

o Again, we are attempting to purchase through the GSA Advantage contract, which has already been vetted through the contract award process, so we would not require proof that they are an authorized vendor. Please let me know if you need us to provide addition information or requirement clarification.
