About this file
This is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for document shredding services at Stennis Space Center.
The procurement requires on-site witnessed mobile shredding services across 21 buildings at Stennis Space Center with service frequency every two weeks. The contractor must provide and maintain approximately 60 locked containers in various sizes (96-gallon, 65-gallon, and executive consoles measuring approximately 36" L x 20" W x 20" H). The scope includes paper documents, CDs, and DVDs, but excludes hard drives. The contract base period runs from October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027, with two option years requested. The contractor must supply a certificate of destruction after each service event; however, no specific destruction standard (such as NAID AAA or NSA/CSS certification) is mandated as long as certification documentation is provided to the customer. Contractor personnel and vehicles must obtain Stennis Access and G Access for Test Stand servicing to enter the facility. No specific brand name or model is required for the shredding equipment or containers.
