About this file

This is a Statement of Work for the acquisition of one SEMCO Portable Telemetry Simulator (Part # PHTS108-00-06-F) for NASA Kennedy Space Center. The device is a portable hand-held telemetry simulator with extensive RF and modulation capabilities, operating in the 1415-2485 MHz L&S-band frequency range with 100 kHz resolution. The simulator provides RF output from +5 to -100 dBm with selectable 0.1, 1, 5, or 10 dBm steps and supports multiple modulation formats including PCM/FM, PM, BPSK, QPSK, SOQPSK-TG, and Multi-h CPM with data rates from 100 bps to 40 Mbps. The unit features a 12-inch front panel touch screen interface, embedded Bit Sync, Frame Sync, BERT, and PN Generator functions, Linux OS, and RPTS Remote (Network) Software with delivered API. Power is supplied by a 100-264 VAC auto-ranging power supply plus 12VDC battery pack, with 0 to 50 degrees Celsius operating temperature capability.

The equipment includes two installed hardware/software options: Option F provides a fader option with dual RF output for combiner testing and feeding two RF inputs, and Option L provides Low Density Parity Check (LDPC) encoding per IRIG106 ch2 Appendix 2-D with rates of 1/2, 2/3, 4/5 and block sizes of 1K and 4K. The place of performance is Cape Canaveral Space Station, Cape Canaveral, Florida 32920, with a performance period of 90 days after receipt of order (ARO).
