About this file
The document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for NASA Goddard's IPS Lasers and parts procurement. The vendor's role is to provide opto-mechanical parts for the Landolt mission and VANDLE project APRA, with lasers that have been baselined for three years and tested for space qualifications using engineering parts. Key technical requirements include conducting evaluation with the customer prior to part fabrication, providing overall project management, holding regular meetings with the Principal Investigator/Team, and submitting status reports at least monthly. The vendor will use their own facilities and equipment as the base for the proposed work, with minimal schedule risk and sufficient labor and non-recurring engineering (NRE) resources to complete the upgrades.
