About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) outlines NASA's requirement for fabricating a mid-infrared flight spectrometer with a new H1RG infrared camera system designed to remotely sense exoplanet atmospheres. The vendor must fabricate all parts from a provided CAD package, including machining, welding, and conducting vacuum leak checks for a cryogenic environment, with a thermal suspension for a low noise environment. The cryostat package must be delivered within 100 days, with all work to be performed at the vendor's fabrication location. The document is specifically related to a sole-source procurement for Precision Cryogenic Systems, Inc. to develop a Mercury Cryostat for NASA's National Shared Services Center, with the procurement targeted for commercial items under NAICS code 334519.
