About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a knowledge transfer and mentoring effort related to the analysis of data from the TIMED/SABER satellite mission. The SOW requires support for the NASA SABER instrument project, including substantial mentoring on the SABER algorithms, dataset, and interrelationships between data products. The work is to be performed at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) in Greenbelt, MD, with a period of performance from October 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024.

The related federal contract opportunity is a sole source procurement by the NASA Shared Services Center for the TIMED SABER Dataset knowledge transfer to a new Principal Investigator (PI). NASA has determined that Space Environment Technologies, LLC is the sole provider of this expertise. The procurement will use FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13 procedures for acquiring commercial items and services. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications by October 24, 2024 for the government's consideration of whether to conduct the procurement on a competitive basis.
