About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a federal contract opportunity to procure a Tektronix MSO58B oscilloscope and supporting hardware/software. The SOW outlines the requirements for an oscilloscope capable of performing advanced testing techniques, such as partial discharge and electromagnetic interference testing, to support the NASA Electric Aircraft Testbed (NEAT) facility. The key performance specifications for the oscilloscope include 8 input channels, 2 GHz bandwidth, 6.25 GS/s sample rate, 62.5M record length, and 12-bit vertical resolution with advanced trigger and analysis capabilities. The required deliverables include the oscilloscope, 2 GHz bandwidth upgrade, pro power software bundle, and two high-voltage differential probes. The related federal contract opportunity is a Brand Name solicitation (Solicitation Number: 80NSSC25881417Q) issued by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Shared Services Center seeking Tektronix authorized resellers to provide the oscilloscope and supporting hardware/software.

STATEMENT OF WORK
Intent to Sole Source: Oscilloscope and supporting hardware/software
1.0 Introduction/Background: The NASA Electric Aircraft Testbed (NEAT) is a test facility at Armstrong Test Facility (ATF) that allows the testing of high-power equipment for eventual use in hybrid-electric aircraft systems. It is one of the only facilities in the world that can test high-power systems and components under simulated altitude conditions. NEAT is part of the Power and Propulsion (P&P) sub-project, which is part of the Advanced Air Transport Technology (AATT) project. The P&P sub-project is exploring multiple technologies that would enable electric, or hybrid-electric, aircraft, resulting in quieter, more fuel-efficient, and more environmentally friendly flight.
NEAT is extending its testing capabilities to incorporate state-of-the-art testing techniques, such as partial discharge (PD) and electromagnetic interference (EMI) testing, for our industrial and academic motor and equipment customers\partners. This oscilloscope Tektronix MSO58B is capable of identifying the signals of this type of testing because of its quick speed, wide bandwidth (2 GHz), and built-in requirement analysis software. This PR will help and support the current and future NEAT’s partners.
