About this file

This is a Questions & Answers document related to a NASA special notice for Autodesk PowerMill Interface Maintenance FY24. The document addresses four key questions from potential vendors regarding the procurement.

The Q&A clarifies that this is a new requirement, not a contract renewal. NASA will not consider direct awards under FAR 6.302-5 for 8(a) or 19.1506 for WOSB. Importantly, NASA has issued a Special Notice indicating intent to award a sole source purchase order and is requesting capability statements from vendors. An RFQ will only be released if submitted capability statements are deemed technically acceptable according to criteria stated in the Special Notice.
