STATEMENT OF WORK

1.0 Introduction/Background: Maintenance and service agreement for full console service for Bruker Biospin NEO Console [400 MHz Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectrometer (NMR)] in the Advanced and Processing Branch (AMPB), Research and Technology Directorate (RTD), building 1293C, room 115B is required. The 400 MHz NEO Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectrometer is an analytical instrument used for structure determination of organic molecules and polymers developed in AMPB. The Bruker Biospin NEO Console and Magnet requires annual maintenance.

2.0 Scope of Work: Maintenance service agreement for full console service for Bruker Biospin 400 MHZ NEO Console, Workstation, and Magnet Support.

3.0 Objectives: AMPB’s Bruker Biospin 400 MHZ NEO NMR Spectrometer is in need of preventative maintenance and periodic servicing. The Bruker Biospin MHZ NEO NMR Spectrometer needs periodic servicing to maintain the instrument efficiency and operation at optimum level. The Bruker Biospin 400 MHZ NEO NMR Spectrometer is used by many of the researchers in AMPB for characterization of newly developed organic molecules and polymers. To insure the most accurate, reliable, publishable, and reproducible data, Bruker Biospin 400 MHZ NEO NMR Spectrometer needs to be serviced annually.

4.0 Description of the Work/Contractor Tasks: The maintenance and full coverage service agreement includes any repair needed to get the system back up and running.

Covered by the agreement are all parts, site visits and labor & travel costs related to hardware failure, planned maintenance and operation qualification to ensure smooth running with minimal downtime, support of the system by Bruker trained service engineer through a secure remote connection, (e.g., WebEx (TM) or TeamViewer (TM)) software and data system up-to-date and fully optimized. Additional service options available.

5.0 Deliverables: Deliverables provided as a result of the maintenance and full coverage service agreement includes any repair needed to get the system back up and running; all parts, site visits and labor & travel costs related to hardware failure, planned maintenance and operation qualification to ensure smooth running with minimal downtime, support of the system by Bruker trained service engineer through a secure remote connection, (e.g., WebEx (TM) or TeamViewer (TM)) software and data system up-to-date and fully optimized. A report will be provided after each maintenance visit of all services and repairs provided.
