Introduction

We are seeking a turnkey, high-precision, controlled-environment cleanroom enclosure. This enclosure will contain equipment required to align and bond X-ray mirror shells to flight mounting structures.

Enclosure requirements:

• Size - The tent interior footprint must be 9 x 9 feet and contain equipment that is 105 inches tall on a 3 x 3 foot granite table.

• Temperature – Given a room where the temperature fluctuates 68 and 75 degrees F, the enclosure will be able to control temperature to within 0.1 degree F.

• Relative humidity – Given a room where the relative humidity may fluctuate between 25 and

70% RH, the enclosure will be able to control the relative humidity between 30 and 55% RH.

• Cleanliness – Cleanliness inside the enclosure will be controlled to within Class 1000.

• Airflow – Airflow through the enclosure will be minimized.

• Reflow – The enclosure will either have clear walls or interior lighting sufficient for work surfaces. Sufficient makeup air will be used in the system airflow to support two workers inside the tent.

• Atmospheric Pressure - No requirement.
