Questions & Answers re 80NSSC19Q1352

Q1: Is there a specific platform that the output for the visualizations outputs need to be delivered in as it pertains to the requirement: "Custom-built interactive visualizations to showcase the insights that emerge out of the data analyzed and machine learning models –spanning from analytics of patents and academic papers to venture capital funding and government funding to our own proprietary data about leading startups and technologies."

Answer: There is no specific platform that the output for the visualization outputs need to be delivered. The oral presentation must be delivered in a platform that is accessible to most computers. An interactive PowerPoint format is sufficient.

Q2: At what point will the contractor be provided the proprietary data? Is a security clearance required for access to such data?

Answer: The contractor must generate the data based on their own research, search engine tools and data analytics capabilities. The government will not provide the data.

Q3: Will all the work need to be completed onsite or can it be done at the contractor site remotely?

What is the expectation on the presentation of findings? Post five hours of deliverables?

Answer: This work must be completed offsite at the contractors facilities with the companies own search tools and data analytics capabilities. The expectations of the findings are as follows (stated in the description): “Deliver a data-driven evaluation of system autonomy disruptive and emerging technologies. The report will list and evaluate top companies that are maturing the disruptive and emerging technologies. The report will also include information regarding venture capital funding and investments for these emerging and disruptive technologies. The report will include a list of patents and academic papers for these emerging and disruptive technologies. The report will also analyze and represent graphically the trend direction of the emerging and disruptive technologies within the last several years of companies that are investing in system autonomy. The evaluation and report shall be data driven. Included in the report shall be insight-added methodology that evaluates system autonomy emerging technology opportunities. The report will also indicate opportunities for potential partnership. “
