About this file
This is a Technical Library Request Form template for the Astromaterials Glovebox Systems (A-BOX) pre-solicitation. The form serves as a structured document for interested parties to request technical information and documentation related to the design, fabrication, testing, delivery, and installation of controlled-atmosphere glovebox systems for NASA Johnson Space Center's ARES Curation facility. The template does not contain specific solicitation details, response dates, or award information; rather, it functions as an administrative tool to facilitate information exchange during the pre-solicitation phase (Solicitation Number 80JSC026A-BOX).
The glovebox systems being procured must support astromaterials sample processing, storage, and curation for future and existing lunar and planetary sample returns, including Artemis-related missions. Manufacturing and fabrication guidelines shall follow American Glovebox Society Guidelines (AGS-G001-2007 3rd Edition) where applicable. NASA/JSC is soliciting capability statements from all interested parties, including small businesses and HBCUs/minority-owned enterprises, to assess capability and promote competition. As a pre-solicitation notice, this document is issued for information and planning purposes to allow industry to verify the reasonableness and feasibility of requirements rather than to solicit formal proposals.
