1.0 PURPOSE OF THE AMENDMENT

The purpose of this amendment is to update the compliance record for all USAID/Ghana Health Sector Portfolio activities from February 1, 2021 to January 31, 2022 by which time new Portfolio level 22 CFR 216 analyses would have been generated and a new IEE would be in place.

The parent IEE was amended in July 2018, October 2019, June 2020, and August 2020. The July 2018 IEE Amendment (Amendment 1) provided a no-cost time extension for all Health Sector activities enumerated in the USAID/Ghana Health Sector Portfolio IEE expiring September 30, 2018.

The October 2019 IEE Amendment (Amendment 2), increased the Health portfolio ceiling to $74 million and provided a six-month extension of the Health Sector Portfolio which was set to expire in July 2020. Amendment 3, finalized in June 2020, extended the IEE until July 31,2020.

Amendment 4, finalized in August 2020, extended the expiration date of the parent analysis until January 31, 2021 in support of continued activities under the Health Sector Portfolio until such time as a new 22 CFR Regulation 216 analysis can be conducted.

The purpose of this amendment (Amendment 5), is to extend the expiration date of the parent analysis until January 31, 2022 in support of continued activities under the Health Sector Portfolio, by which time new Portfolio level 22 CFR 216 analyses would have been generated and a new IEE would be in place.

This amendment also requires the project to adhere to the COVID-19 conditions listed below.

There are no funding changes associated with this amendment.
