About this file

This document is a Statement of Work for a PennDOT (Pennsylvania Department of Transportation) Jefferson County contract opportunity for 96 feet of 36" O.D. plastic slip lining pipe. The county requires four 24-foot sections of the pipe to be delivered to the PennDOT Brookville Stockpile. The pipe must have a smooth interior and exterior, with joints that seal tightly to allow for grouting once installed in an existing 48" pipe. Bidders must complete the GSPUR-89 form and provide pricing for the pipe and any related delivery costs. The contract will be awarded to the lowest bid that meets the requirements of the Reciprocal Limitation Act. Interested parties should contact Jeremy Snyder at (814) 771-1818 with any questions about the pipe specifications.

The bid requires both the cost of the pipe and any related delivery costs to the Brookville stockpile location. All quantities are estimated. Bidders must adhere to the Reciprocal Limitation Act Requirements. There is no information provided about set-asides, incumbents, funding sources, or contract term and renewal options.

Jefferson County PennDOT Slip Liner Pipe Statement of Work

Jefferson County PennDOT is in need of four (4)-24’ feet sections of 36” O.D. plastic slip lining pipe to be delivered to the Jefferson County PennDOT Brookville Stockpile located at 5926 Route 322, Brookville, PA 15825.

The requested pipe liner must not exceed an outside diameter of 36 inches and have an inside diameter of approximately 33.784 inches. The pipe needs to have a smooth interior bore as well as a smooth exterior to aid in sliding through an existing structure. This pipe liner must have joints constructed so they seal or “snap” together tightly enough so any voids can be filled with grout once inside a host 48” pipe.

The bid will be awarded to the lowest bid for 96 feet of the above-mentioned pipe per the guidelines of the Reciprocal Limitation Act Requirements (GSPUR-89). Please complete this form (GSPUR-89) and attach when submitting a bid.

Please submit bids that includes both the cost of the pipe and any related costs i.e. delivery costs to Brookville stockpile at 5926 Route 322, Brookville, PA 15825. Any question on length or diameters of the pipe specs please contact Jeremy Snyder (814) 771-1818 All quantities are estimated.
