The responses to the questions below are hereby incorporated into the solicitation.

Question: Total Quantities in Circulation: Does the facility need 15 scrubs as the total inventory available at any given time to account for scrubs being: Worn by staff. In the laundry process.

Response: NIA should initially receive ALL the scrubs on day 1 of the contract. The contractor shall ensure that NIA has 15 scrubs for use at all times.

Question: Do we have to provide any of items listed on attachment A?

Response: YES, all items need to be provided by the contractor.

Question: The solicitation states " Pickup and delivery is between 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM Monday through Friday. The scheduled pickup and drop off days are once a week, normally

Fridays unless an emergency occurs." Are we expected to pick up soiled linen on Friday and return it by Saturday the next day? Or are we expected to deliver the clean linens on

Monday?

Response: Contractors are expected to pick up soiled items and deliver clean items on the same day which would be every Friday, unless otherwise noted (getting the count back to the par level).

Question: I don’t see any mention of loss, damage, or replacement costs. Should I factor these into my pricing?

Response: YES. When an item is damaged or heavily soiled, the contractor is required to replace those items with clean/undamaged linens. If an item is lost by the government, the contractor is still required to keep the supply at par levels. Offerors should account for this situation that is rate but may occur in their firm fixed prices per year.
