About this file

This document is a Sole-Source Justification for the federal contract opportunity to provide licenses for Biomedtracker and Enhanced Company Deals Upgrade.

The National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) Office of Strategic Alliances (OSA) requires five one-year licenses for Biomedtracker, a business intelligence service that provides data and tools to support pharmaceutical research, development, and commercial activities. The justification states that Biomedtracker is only available from the sole source provider, Citeline/Caerus US 1 Inc., and that competition is precluded due to the exclusive licensing agreement. The estimated cost for the required licenses is $26,870. The acquisition will be conducted under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, with a response date of June 24, 2024. The contract performance period is June 24, 2024 to June 23, 2025.
