AMENDMENT #1, RFP No. 75N93020R00006
Question from Potential Offeror:
Question 1:
Is the RFP solely for HIV or would a Coccidioidomycosis proposal be a valid submission?
If the Repository is solely for HIV, would samples of coinfection with Cocci be of interest?
Response to Question 1:
The NIAID Specimen Repository contract solicitation is to provide short, moderate and long-term specimen storage and distribution of current and completed NIAID Study Groups. It is possible that samples are coinfected with other pathogens, but we are not soliciting specimens. The contract is for receipt, storage and distribution of NIAID-funded clinical trials and observations cohort studies that collect specimens.
