About this file
This document is a federal contract amendment for a nurse triage call center service for the Gallup Indian Medical Center and Shiprock medical facilities. The solicitation (75H71025R00001) covers a base year with four 12-month option periods (5 years total), and will require providing telephone triage services with specific performance requirements, including handling approximately 18,000 incoming calls annually for the Gallup location. Key service specifications include maintaining a minimum of 60 daily calls, with 3 simultaneous inbound call capacity, maximum 10-minute wait times, 5-minute hold times, and 100% live operator answer rate.
The contract will require consolidated pricing for both medical centers, with interpreters included to support multiple languages (English, Navajo, Zuni, Hopi, Apache, Spanish, and French). The current incumbent is JVRX LLC, serving from 06/01/2022 to 11/30/2025. The service is a remote position with registered nurses not stationed on-site, and will use a firm fixed monthly billing model. Providers must document all calls in the patient's electronic health record and aim to resolve 75-80% of calls without transfers, with no more than 5-8% of calls terminated by the caller without resolution. The contract requires 100% call center dedication and will use HIPAA-compliant eFax for transmitting nurse triage notes.
