1. On the CLINs, are you requesting 520 hrs per quarter for 2 each which totals to 1040 hrs per quarter for Psychologist, 1040 hrs per quarter for Psychiatrists and 1040 hrs per quarter for LISWs. Does this mean there are 2 MD Psychiatrists staffed during weekdays daily?

All positions would be staffed weekdays daily with some call/shifts on weekends.

2. Is there an incumbent contractor? If so, what was the previous solicitation ID?

No

3. What will the Psychiatrist schedule be? Monday – Friday 8a- 5p?

Yes, with some weekend call

4. Is there any inpatient coverage required?

Inpatient consults on medicine patients. We do not have any inpatient psychiatry services.

5. Will the Psychiatrist see all ages?

Yes, we do have a child psychologist and limited child tele-psychiatry, but would need to be capable of seeing all ages.

6. Approximately how many patients per day will the Psychiatrist see? Of those, how many are new patients and how many are med checks?

6-8 patients/day depending on ratio that day of new patients to med checks/follow-ups.

7. How many other Psychiatrists on staff?

Currently we only have limited tele-psychiatry on site, with no on site psychiatrist.

8. What other support staff is available?

We have two substance use counselors, two LSCW’s, one child psychologist, a part-time mental health nurse practitioner and a couple behavioral health specialists.

9. Is there any call required?

Yes, to cover SI patients in the ED on weekends. This is from 8am to 8pm at this time and patient volume is typically 2-4 patients/day, but can vary greatly.

10. We have medical doctors and other healthcare experts in all the areas mentioned providing these services virtually via our live streaming and telehealth platforms. Is that something that might be a fit?

Refer to the PWS for details on required services.

11. Are resumes required for all positions, along with the proposal requirements below, for each candidate?

a. Contractor’s Licenses/Certifications

b. Contractor’s Valid Driver’s License

c. Interview with Contractor against Statement of Duties, Performance of Work Statement and Contractor Profile

Yes, resumes, licenses and certifications are required.

12. Are the Performance Work Statements for LCSW and Psychologist correct, as paragraph 8.0 for both PWS’s state “The Contractor shall provide Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) services for patients at GIMC” and lists the same Major Duties and Responsibilities?

Corrected/Updated Attachment B – Performance Work Statement – Psychologist posted in attachments.

13. Can an extension of proposal due date be considered to incorporate Q&A?

An extension will not be issued at this time.
