MEMORANDUM
The following is a list of questions received in regards to subject solicitation with answers:
1. Do we need to provide Fiber Network capabilities between the network rooms in our quote, or will the existing fiber we available to use?
- Answer: Fiber for network closet back to server room is there, fiber patch panel is available in each closet. It would be necessary for the contractor to include the fiber patch cable only from the fiber patch panel to a switch. The fiber patch panel is SC connector type. (For example, we use 6ft SC to LC fiber patch catch to our switch stack in each closet.)
2. Do the existing UPS’s that we were told we could use have surge protection? Or do we need to include surge protection in the quote?
- Answer: There is surge protection on the UPS.
3. We understood that the work stations would be provided and we do not need to put work stations in the quote. I wanted to verify this, and confirm how many would be provided so we would know how many we would need to provide and load the security system software on.
- Answer: Yes, there will be one at the main point where the guards will be monitoring the cameras, and a back-up. Four Corners Regional Health Center IT Department will set up the work stations. There will be a total of three (3) stations.
