About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for Request for Quote (RFQ) No. 75H70725Q00066 for Remote Clearinghouse Services at the Ute Mountain Ute Health Center in Towaoc, CO. The Q&A clarifies key details about the solicitation, including that the government is seeking a subscription service for eligibility verification and claims processing, with an estimated 14,400 claims processed annually. The current process uses Inovalon for claims submission and eligibility verification, and this RFQ aims to establish a new purchase order with a small business to replace the existing service when the current order ends.

The Q&A addresses specific vendor questions, confirming that no human workforce is required, all claims will be processed on-site, and the service is purely a subscription-based tool for the Ute Mountain staff to use. The service unit is looking for a subscription service with a lookup tool for new purchase orders, to be used for processing claims locally. The government emphasizes that the purpose is to determine if a new purchase order can be established with a small business, starting when the current order concludes.

RFQ No. 75H70725Q00066

Remote Clearinghouse Services – Ute Mountain Ute Health Center – Towaoc, CO

Q&A

1. Can the Government please provide clarification if the purpose of this contract is to acquire solely a subscription service that provides the bullet points listed on page three? Or is the Government requesting both the subscription service and the claims processing services? The service unit is requesting subscription service for eligibility verification, lookup tool for new purchase order (to start when current order ends).

The Ute Mountain staff will use this subscription service to process claims onsite.

2. Is the contractor expected to provide human workforce to process claims? No

3. Is the contractor expected to provide software/subscription service management? No

4. If the contractor is meant to provide workforce to process claims, are there any parameters for remote equipment? Should our staff have phones to speak with anyone to complete these tasks? No remote, all claims are process on site.

5. Can the Government please clarify if the total annual claims estimated is 9,600 or 96,000? Actually estimating 14,400/year (*within RFQ – Annual claims estimated should read 9,600 not 96,000 – but according to this answer, it would now be around 14,400/year)

6. Does the Government have a process already in place? If not, is the Government looking for a process to establish this 3rd party insurance subscription service? Process currently in place with Inovalon for claims submission and eligibility verification. The purpose of this RFQ is to determine if a new purchase order can be established with a small business, to start when the current order ends.
