I just wanted to confirm that IHS is expecting NTE 50 appeals handled annually?
Page 3. 3.6.3 Deliverables and Schedule:
The PRC files will be sent by ORAP staff directly to the contractor. The expected turnaround time for a medical review is 14 days.
The contractor is expected to review up to 50 appeal files during the base year and each option period.
Additionally, there is language (page 31) that states there should be no more than 20% of annual hours spent on this contract - is that an accurate assumption (we are calculating NTE 376 hours out of 1,992).
FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications- Commercial Products and Commercial Services (Dec 2022). See FAR 22.1003-4(d)(1) to make the determination.
There is mention of NTE 21 pages in the response with customer endorsements provided, and references by expert users in the field of study. To be technically acceptable, can you clarify what this would look like and how we would include these references in our proposal?
Page 17 Offerors shall include a cover page which shall include a point of contact (name, telephone number, and email address), proposed firm-fixed-prices (i.e. complete the pricing table in Subpart 2.2), estimated delivery date, business size and type (e.g.

Is there a requirement to be technically acceptable to include the resume of the board certified physician reviewer in our proposal?

Are you able to provide info on how long an average appeals take to complete? I saw mention of 14 days for decisions to be due, but no estimate on average completion time.

Also - would IHS consider extending the due date for this requirement further from Monday?
