Indian Health Service National Health Coaching Training Pilot

RFP 75H70421R00010 Q&A I

Q1. I am under the impression that the FFP included system-wide implementation.

A1. IHS seeks to identify best practices for system-wide implementation with health coaching at the community and clinical settings.

Q2. For clarification purposes, I would like to know, in the event of a system-wide implementation, will there be a follow-on RFP or is this implementation part of the option years presented in this current RFP?

A.2 A follow-on RFP is not anticipated. However, IHS's evaluation findings, hence our priority with evaluation at the beginning and end, and the consistent environmental scanning will determine if a contracted is awarded from this RFP and if subsequent option years will be exercised.

Q.3 If there is a follow-on RFP for system-wide implementation, will the awarded contractor be an OCI since they will have heavily prepped the program for system-wide implementation?

A.3 No, but prior performance would be considered.

Q.4 Is there an incumbent or is this a first-time effort?

A.4 There is not an incumbent. This is a new effort.

Q.5 Are the promotion materials in base year 1 intended for a trainee audience?

A. 5 Yes
