This will be a full and open 8(a) competitive procurement.
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will be soliciting for the Medical Review Accuracy Contract (MRAC). The primary purpose of the MRAC is to review a specified amount of claims medically reviewed by the Medical Review Contractors (MRCs) per month in order to determine the accuracy rate for each MRC from the representative sample that is reviewed.
This procurement will be an 8(A) full and open competition under NAICS code 524292, Third Party Administration of Insurance and Pension Funds, with a size standard of $32.5 million. The RFP will be issued under solicitation number 75FCMC18R0013. CMS anticipates award of one Firm Fixed Price and Time & Material hybrid type contract. All prospective Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management at http://www.sam.gov.
The solicitation will be available on or about December 15, 2017, and it will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at http://www.fbo.gov . Proposals are expected to be due 30 days from the RFP issue date. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. No telephone requests or written requests for the RFP will be accepted.
Contractors must be free of conflicts of interest or shall prepare an OCI mitigation plan to address any actual, potential or apparent organizational conflicts of interest that could arise.
