Questions and Answers 75F40124Q00103

Question 1: I found the attached FDA solicitation on SAM.gov and it looks like it is for a new lab where we are involved with other equipment.

Unfortunately, the specifications are very particular to one manufacturer and include a ‘superfluous’ specification that is not relevant to the application Continuous Chromatography System: “pumps with pressure limit greater than 10MPa”. No Continuous Chromatography System would ever operate at these high pressures and this specification is a legacy one from when the instrument was used for applications. other

We have a very good system (superior in many ways), but this particular specification is impeding us from presenting our solution… Can you please present this claim to the TPOC to see if this requirement can be dropped or revised to a realistic operating pressure (up to 100 psi)?

Response Question 1: Please refer to Amendment 0002 RFQ’s Statement of Work (SOW) dated May 6, 2024 for revisions.

Question 2: In order to quote you the exact product, request you to please provide a part number.

Response Question 2: The system is not meant to be specific to any particular system, please refer to Amendment 0002 RFQ’s Statement of Work (SOW) dated May 6, 2024 for revisions.

A00002 75F40124Q00135

The purpose of Amendment 00002 is to do the following:

1. Provide Attachment Questions and Answers_75F40124Q00135 for questions received in response to the solicitation.

2. Issue an amended Request for Quote, incorporating Statement of Work dated May 6, 2024 which is attached.

3. The deadline of Friday, May 10, 2024, 12:00 PM ET still applies to this solicitation. If quotations were submitted for the May 6 deadline, please review the amendment, and resubmit a timely best and final response prior to the deadline.

ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS REMAIN UNCHANGED.
