Adult Flu Vaccines 2022-2023 Notice ID: 75D301-22-R-72082 Questions & Answers

1. Question: This question is regarding Clause C.3.8(c)(2) on Pg. 10 of the Adult Flu Vaccine solicitation.

The Government reserves the right to reject vaccine doses that exceed delivery order requirements. The Government shall notify the Contractor when excess doses have been delivered to distribution sites. The Contractor is responsible for contacting the distribution site to make arrangement for the return of the excess doses and will be responsible for shipping cost associated with their return.

Does this clause represent a scenario where the contractor shipped what CDC ordered and have unused need, or does it represent the scenario where the vendor shipped more than CDC ordered upfront?

Answer: This represents a scenario where the vendor shipped more than the CDC ordered upfront.
