Responses to Questions

1. When will the responses to the RFI questions be published?

a) Responses are being published October 24, 2019.

2. What is the pricing methodology used by WTCHP’s current PBM (AWP discounts, pass-through, FSS pricing)?

a) The current pricing mechanism is AWP – discount (generic, brand, retail, mail-order) however we are looking at alternative pricing options for the next contract. Zadroga Act requires that prices cannot exceed FECA rates.

3. What percentage of claims involve the coordination of benefits with both the Primary Healthcare provider and the WTCHP?

a) Currently the percentage is low, around 17%. The new contract would require services to significantly improve COB rates among the survivor population.

4. In the event that an RFP is published, will WTCHP provide an pharmacy claims data file for further analysis?

a) Yes WTCHP will provide a pharmacy claims data file for further analysis if the RFP is published.

5. For #7 of the Requested Information: Does WTCHP provide information to identify the member's primary insurance?

a) The WTCHP is currently working towards collecting primary insurance information for survivors.
