Questions and Answers

Vapor Degreaser System Cleaning and Acid Neutralization

Solicitation: FA857124Q0076

All answers from the United States Government (USG) are marked in red.

1. Could USG clarify what sort of proposal they would prefer (a Quote/Fill out SF1449, Technical/Price Volumes, etc)?

The USG issued an RFQ on SAM.gov as a Small Business Set Aside, and we are requesting quotes.

2. Will this be awarded (Lowest Price Technically Acceptable) LPTA or Best Value?

LPTA.

3. Is there a reason the PoP from 1 base year and 4 options on the previous contract, to 1 base year and 1 option?

The USG solicited for 1 base year and 1 option year based on the current USG need.

4. When are questions from the contractors due, and is there a specific date for the site visit?

We currently do not currently have plans for interested vendors to take a site visit.

5. Status of the degreaser? Is the system currently empty? Are there any photos of the degreaser?

The degreaser is not currently empty and is being used. Prior to the cleaning, the USG will empty the degreaser and associated still. Pictures of the degreaser are attached.
