Questions and Answers

NO.

QUESTION

ANSWER

1. Please provide an acceptable packet loss rate for this requirement.

It should be less than 1%.

2. Please define the minimum latency requirements for this solution.

Depends on where the packet is destined to, but a properly designed and optimized infrastructure to reduce latency as much as possible is required. For such design, a maximum of 180 ms is acceptable.

3. Would USAID consider a satellite communications (Satcom) solution an option for this requirement?

No, unless as backup.

4. Given the significant global supply chain delays for Cisco equipment, would the USAID consider other equipment provider solutions?

This Question is unclear, as no specific equipment types have been itemized.

5. Would USAID consider a two (2) week extension for this requirement?

A 7-day extension is granted. The closing date of this solicitation is September 21, 2022, 17:00 Juba Time.

6. The cover page of the solicitation the bandwidth mentioned is 300/300Mbps, while in page 1 of attachment 1 USAID have requested for 200/200Mbps.

Kindly clarify if we should add

200/200Mbps in the cover page of the solicitation

As stated in Attachment 1, Section 3 b.

the Required Bandwidth is for

200/200mbps.

However, as stated under Section 3 c.

An Option Line Item of 300/300mbps may be ordered by USAID.

Therefore, 300/300mbps should be quoted as an option.
