Subject: Request for Quotation (RFQ) No. 72027818Q00005 – Amendment No. 3 Training for Employment Activity (TEA)
The purpose of this Amendment is to eliminate any confusion related to the definition of semester by providing conversion method examples.
As explained in Amendment 2, specifically Q7., an academic semester is typically 6 months or less depending on the skill level. In general, short-term training is anywhere between 2 and 6 months. Long-term training is up to two years. This depends on the training provider. Offerors must provide a conversion method if using training period other than semester.
Conversion method examples:
a) Short-term training programs:
- If the training program for a certain skill level is only 2 months, then this can be considered a semester for the sake of this RFQ.
- If the training program for a certain skill level is only 5 months, then this can be considered a semester.
- If the training program for a certain skill level is 9 months with no academic breaks, then this can be considered a semester.
- If the training program for a certain skill level is 9 months with academic break, then this should be considered more than one semester depending on the training provider.
b) Long-term training programs:
- If the training program for a certain skill level is 1 year or more with academic breaks, then this should be considered more than one semester depending on the training provider.
All other terms and condition of the RFQ remain unchanged.
