Purchase Description

Vericut SWM & Catia V5 Interface

1. DESCRIPTION: The contractor shall provide to the 402nd Commodities Maintenance Group (CMXG), Robins Air Force Base (RAFB), Georgia, the annual software maintenance, VERICUT software licenses and interfaces.

1.1 Software maintenance and technical updates shall be provided in the form of updates and telephone updates for one year from time of delivery (or download).

1.2 The new VERICUT software will add mission capability by allowing 3D CAD models to be imported directly without the use of a separate CAD/CAM system to read/write the formats.

1.3 Software Maintenance and Technical Updates.

1.3.1 Contractor shall provide one (1) year of annual software maintenance for all items listed in par 1.1 within the maintenance period.

1.3.2 Technical support will be provided by phone during normal Government working hours, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm (EST), Monday through Friday (exdluding holidays).

1.4 Options. The contractor shall provide four (4) annual options to renew with Period of Performance (PoP) as follows:

1.4.1 Basic – 1 December 2021 to 30 November 2022.

1.4.2 Option I – 1 December 2022 to 30 November 2023.

1.4.3 Option II – 1 December 2023 to 30 November 2024.

1.4.4 Option III – 1 December 2024 to 30 November 2025.

1.4.5 Option IV – 1 December 2025 to 30 November 2026.

1.5 Delivery. Software delivery within 5 days ARO. Deliveries are FOB Destination via internet download to the Government Point of Contact (POC) listed in par 1.5.1.

1.5.2 Delivery Schedule: The Vericut SWM & Catia V5 Interface will be delivered between the hours of 7:00 am and 5:00 (EST), Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays and work curtailment days.

1.5.2 Warranty: The VERICUT software DVD is warranted to be free of defects when delivered.

1.5.3 Training: Training at the Vector Cente, 9000 Research Dr, Irvine, CA will be held no later than 90 days after award. Training at Advanced aTechnology and Training Center, 207 Russell Pkwy, Warner Robins, GA will be held 90 – 120 days after award.

1.5.3.1 For the Offsite Class. All training materials will be provided by CGTech for the offsite class at a CGTech location. It is for end-user update Training called VERICUT verification.

1.5.3.2 For the On-site Class. This class is for force optimization. All materials will be provided by CGTech.

2. Service Requirements (for Incidental Services where Contractor comes on base):

2.1 Duty Hours: The training will be performed between the hours of 7:00 am and 5:00 pm (EST), Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays and work curtailment days. Other hours of work may be arranged with the approval of the end user at no additional cost to the government.

3. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED EQUIPMENT AND SERVICES OR GOVERNMENT FURNISHED PROPERTY (PFP) AND SERVICES:

3.1 None.

4. GENERAL INFORMATION:

4.1 Access to Government Facilities: The Government Representative will ensure Contractor personnel are escorted by Government personnel at all times during training of the Vericut SWM & Catia V5 Interface. The Air Force has mandated visitors, to include all non-DOD card holders, to consent to a check of their criminal history prior to being allowed access to installations. The check is similar to a driver’s license check and will be conducted at the Visitor Control Center (VCC) off of Watson Boulevard.

4.1.1 Contractor personnel will need a valid driver’s license or state-issued ID and a social security card, which will be checked by name, dates of birth and social security number. Contractor personnel who wish to drive on base must present a valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and proof of vehicle insurance.

4.1.1.1 The Contractor shall ensure Contractor personnel who require access to Robins AFB or other Government facilities comply with the security procedures of the facility.

4.2 Place of Performance: Building 140 RM 54.

4.3 Agency Affirmative Procurement Programs (APP – Formally GPP).

In accordance with FAR 23.404(b)(1), 100% of purchases of Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)-designated products included in the Comprehensive Procurement Guidelines (CPG) list [https://www.epa.gov/smm/comprehensive-procurement-guideline-cpg-program] and/or United States Department of Agriculture (USDA)-designated products included in the bio-based product listings [http://www.biopreferred.gov] shall meet the EPA or USDA standards for recovered materials or bio based content, respectively, unless an item cannot be acquired competitively within a realistic timeframe, meet appropriate performance standards, and/or be acquired at a reasonable price.

4.3.1 In accordance with FAR 23.404(a)(iii), the Contractor shall provide estimates and verification of recovered material for EPA-designated CPG products and certification for both EPA-designated CPG products and USDA-designated bio based products. In accordance with the Robins AFB Green Procurement Program (GPP) Plan, the Contractor shall provide estimates and certifications to the Government for completion of the applicable attachment(s) to be included in the Purchase Request (PR) package.
