71311120R0001 Financial Data & Analysis Services Overview and Requirements

Background:

As the U.S. Government’s development finance institution, the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) mobilizes U.S. private capital to help solve critical development challenges in emerging markets and in doing so, advances U.S. foreign policy. Because OPIC works with the U.S. private sector, it helps U.S.

businesses gain footholds in emerging markets, catalyzing revenues, jobs and growth opportunities both at home and abroad. OPIC achieves its mission by providing investors with financing, guarantees, political risk insurance, and support for private equity investment funds.

Financial Data & Analysis Online Information System To enable OPIC’s mission and self-sustaining mandate OPIC’s Information Center requires a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) information service (the “Platform”) providing access to worldwide financial data in all of the following key market sectors: Corporates, Commodities, Currency, Equities, Government securities, Money Markets, Mortgages/Loans, and Private Equity. The service must provide current market recognized benchmark stock/bond data, securities analytics, and current/historical data on companies, up-to-the minute financial/business news reports and economic statistics on the same platform with a common user interface.

Emerging market data is of particular interest to us.

Users:

Access to the Platform will be via the Internet through the OPIC Information Center with a second access point based in the Office of Finance (Capital Markets). Through the Information Center, all onsite OPIC employees who are required to use financial data services in their jobs will be able to access the system.

If your product is user based rather than terminal based, we anticipate needing up to 8 user accounts. One account must be available for drop in user in the Information Center.

Period of Performance: Five (5) years: Base Year (2020) + four (4) option years.
