Question

Answer

1 N/A Are doors intended to be installed by the contractor or solely delivered to USCG Station Annapolis?

Doors are to be installed by the Government so this is for material only to be delivered to Station Annapolis

2 N/A Are you seeking metal or wood with a 90-minute fire rating? We are looking for 90 minute fire rated wood doors.

3 N/A What specific type of mortise lock is needed? Commercial grade keyed mortise lock (silver or chrome) that fits configuration of door they are offering.

4 N/A Concerning the "36” x 80” door with frame, featuring a slot window, outer push plate, inner pull handle, vent kick out, and left-hand swing," it has come to my attention that it cannot maintain the 90-minute fire rating due to the outer push plate and inner pull handle together. Would you prefer this particular configuration to be quoted without the 90-minute fire rating? Or would you like a different configuration for the handle setup?

They can quote us for the door requested without the 90 minute fire rating but request they state what level of fire rating the door has (i.e. 30 minute, 15 minute etc).

4 N/A Could you please confirm the desired size for the glass on the door? Will a narrow lite 5” x 35” kit work?

Additionally, I would like to clarify the specifications for the vents/louvers requested on the doors. Are they all intended to be 24” x 24” in size?

Yes a narrow lite 5” x 35” kit will work and a 24” x 24” vent/louver is what is needed for the doors specified to have a vent on our solicitation.
