Questions and Answers

Question 1: If Attachment (8) Department of Homeland Security Non-Disclosure Agreement

(DHS NDA) was previously submitted to the USCG SFLC for a separate requirement, do we need to resubmit for this solicitation?

Answer 1: If your firm is going to submit a completed Attachment (8) DHS NDA (in lieu of a

Joint Certification Program approval number), then yes, a completed and signed copy of

Attachment (8) DHS NDA needs to be submitted specifically for this requirement.

Question 2: Work Item D-014, Paragraph 3.3; what is/are the size (thickness/length and diameters of existing duct work?

Answer 2: This information cannot be made publically available, please refer to the materials list in Drawing 750-WMSL-512-527.

Question 3: Work Item D-014, Paragraph 3.4; what is/are the size (thickness/length and diameters of existing duct work?

Answer 3: This information cannot be made publically available, please refer to the materials list

Question 4: Work Item D-014, Paragraph 3.4.1; what is/are the series of stainless steel fasteners, is there a required specification for these?

Answer 4: This information cannot be made publically available, please refer to the materials list

Question 5: In regards to the technical drawings and publications, I only received one of the CDs

(or the package is otherwise incomplete).

Answer 5: There should have been 2 CDs in the FedEx package. One is IETM 7348A and that is a standalone interactive electronic technical manual which has its own viewer on the CD. The second CD should have Technical Publications and Drawings on it. Our master copy and each of our extra copies on hand printed correctly and we test each CD before shipping. There are a lot of files on the CD so it may take a little time depending on the users cd drive to open or recognize the folders and files. If this is not the situation then please let the USCG Contract Specialist know.

Question 6: The Specification identifies that four (4) guide rollers (Part No.: 184796) will be provided as Government Furnished Property (GFP). It is identified elsewhere in the Specification that the Contractor shall be required to renew the 14 guide rollers. Please clarify.

Answer 6: The USCG has ordered all 14 guide rollers. Specification has been updated to require the Contractor to replace all 14. All 14 guide rollers shall be included as GFP. In the event that an inspection is conducted and it is determined that not all 14 need to be replaced, the USCG will update the Specifications as required.
