About this file

The document is a Vendor Questions and Government Responses spreadsheet for a United States Coast Guard Solicitation (70Z084QAA852200) for Mess Attendant Services at Sector St. Petersburg. This 100% Small Business set-aside contract will replace the current incumbent (contract #70Z08420CAA753900) who has performed services for the past 5 years. The solicitation seeks a contractor to provide dining facility support services, including dining area setup, serving line support, dishwashing, and sanitation duties for authorized personnel.

Key details include: the galley operates from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. supporting breakfast and lunch meal service, has a maximum seating capacity of 60 with 18 tables, and is closed on weekends and federal holidays. The government will provide all supplies, tools, a bulletin board, and lockers for contractor use. A recent galley inspection on 30 Apr 2025 showed no discrepancies, and current mess attendants are eligible for rehire by the new contractor. Contractors are not required to be on-site for the full duration of operating hours, provided they can serve meals during scheduled times and complete all statement of work requirements.
