About this file
This is a Statement of Work for the recertification of a 110-foot USCG Cutter Cradle (CGY-C110-3) and Spreader Bar (CGY-S110-1). The contractor shall conduct all necessary inspections and certifications to verify that the docking cradle and spreader bar meet requirements outlined in SFLC Standard Specification 8634. The equipment has been previously proof loaded with no structural modifications, therefore re-load testing is not required. All work must be performed at USCG Yard, Baltimore, MD 21226, with a performance period from May 1-31, 2026. The certifying authority shall determine the type and length of weld inspection required.
The deliverables include a comprehensive Certification Report signed and sealed by a Professional Engineer licensed in the State of Maryland, which must contain completed Appendix B-2, B-23, and B-24 forms from SFLC STD Spec 8634; an inspection overview; inspection findings with supporting documentation; and a surveyor's endorsement noting either "SATISFACTORY" or "UNSATISFACTORY" status with any contingencies clearly noted. Reference documentation includes USCG Drawings YD-085-029, 110WPB-085-010 (Rev. B), and 110WPB-085-016, along with previous certification reports, docking history, and the last Non-Destructive Inspection report and load test documentation, available post-award upon request.
