About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) amendment for Solicitation 70Z04025R51522B00, addressing vendor inquiries about a United States Coast Guard (USCG) procurement opportunity for Daimler Truck of North America (DTNA) 60 series marine engine parts. The Q&A provides clarifications on three key points: (1) order destinations will be determined at the order level, (2) previously included language about submitting a Request for Quote (RFQ) has been removed from the Ordering Instructions section, and (3) items listed as "W/ Core Return" represent the discounted price when a functioning core can be returned for the specific part.

70Z04025R51522B00 Questions and Answers
This amendment to solicitation 70Z04025R51522B00 is provided as the response to questions received concerning the solicitation:
1. Q: "I cannot locate the ship to address for this anywhere on the solicitation or supplies schedule."
A: As stated in the solicitation on page 3, "Order destinations will be determined at the order level."
2. Q: “Since we are providing pricing at time of quote, why would an RFQ be required at time for purchase.”
A: The Ordering Instructions section of the solicitation is updated to remove language that shouldn’t have been included in the solicitation. Language removed: “Prior to issuance of any order, the contracting office will submit a Request for Quote (RFQ) to each vendor via email for the anticipated required CLINs. The vendors will have 5 business days to respond to the RFQ.”
3. Q: “There are several items that are listed twice; the second one listed will show “W/ Core Return” is that just the core charge or is that the discounted price if you were to return the core?”
A: Items listed as “W/ Core Return” should be the discounted price if we are able to send a functioning core for the item.
