About this file

This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for U.S. Coast Guard aircraft component repair and overhaul services, identified as PR# 6226-ND09. The contractor must be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), OEM Authorized Repair Center, or FAA Certified 145 Repair Center deemed acceptable to the Coast Guard. The specific component being repaired is a Control Column (Part Number G2212735023-037, NTIN 15-022-0286), with a quantity of one unit.

The contractor must comply with OEM specifications, Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM), drawings, Service Bulletins, and Overhaul and Repair Instructions (ORI), and maintain ISO 9000 compliance or equivalent quality systems. The SOW requires three levels of repair: Inspect/Repair as necessary (failure analysis and defective part replacement), Overhaul (complete teardown and component replacement), and thorough cleaning per CMM guidance. Contractors may request Beyond Economical Repair (BER) determination, which only the USCG can approve. Within fifteen calendar days of receipt, the contractor must inspect for missing parts and notify the Contracting Officer. A Teardown and Inspection Report (TIR) identifying all parts requiring repair or replacement must be submitted within five calendar days of inspection. The required turn-around-time is 180 days after receipt of material, with earlier delivery preferred at no additional cost. All parts must be airworthy and suitable for USCG aircraft installation, supported by FAA airworthiness release 8130-3 Certificate or equivalent documentation. Packaging and preservation must comply with CMM standards, Air Transport Association specifications, and exclude popcorn, shredded paper, styrofoam, or peanut packaging. Final inspection and acceptance will be performed by Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) quality assurance personnel.
