About this file

This document contains questions and answers regarding two federal contract opportunities with the Department of Homeland Security US Coast Guard for purchasing plywood. The opportunities are for 300 sheets in one solicitation and 1355 sheets in another solicitation. Bidders can submit proposals for both opportunities at the same time even though the offer due dates are one week apart. Delivery of awarded plywood is required within 15 days of award. Bidders must be able to deliver within 3 weeks of award at the earliest. The plywood will be unloaded from delivery trucks either in an open area or loading dock depending on whether it is delivered by flatbed truck or other type of vehicle.

Text version

Do you provide the means to off-load the plywood or is the bidder responsible for this process? Yes, plywood will be offloaded by unit personnel.

If awarded both solicitations for 300 & 1355 sheets of plywood, can they both be sent at one time even though the Offer Due Dates are a week apart? Same time is fine.

If so, when would the 15-day delivery window begin? After award If we win either or both solicitations, the soonest we could deliver would be 3 weeks from the awarded date. Is this acceptable? Yes When the trucks carrying the plywood arrive, where will it be unloaded? Open area or loading dock?

Depends if delivered on a flat bed or not. If delivered by flatbed it will be open area.
