QUESTIONS/RESPONSES to the SYNOPSIS

Q1: Are proposal responses due on June 28 (per SAM.GOV) or July 30 (per the synopsis)?

A1: Offeror proposals are due no later than Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at 8:00 AM, Eastern Time Zone.

Please refer to Attachment 3 – Instructions to Offerors

Q2: How many labs will be awarded the contract?

A2: One (1)

Q3: How accurate are the quantities listed? Are they total quantities for all locations? Example, item on line 8 indicates 50 units per period. Is that for all or one facility? It is important to us to understand this so we can plan our production accordingly.

A3: The listed quantities are accurate and are the total amount for the period for the contract (inclusive for all clinics).

Q4: Can we put 'not available' for products that we cannot supply?

A4: An offeror who cannot provide all the required supplies is at risk for non-compliance. If you cannot fill an item, offerors may propose substitutes. It is the offeror’s responsibility to describe any proposed substitutes for items they cannot fill, and it will be the government’s determination as to whether the proposed substitute is acceptable (or not).

Q5: How important is it that we are able to provide all products?

A5: All of the products listed are items we utilize in our dental clinic’s so it is important that we can get the requested products.

Q6: Award date will be August/Sept 2024. What is the expected date the awarded vendor will start receiving orders.

A6: The task order will be executed with the award of the contract. The awarded offer should expect to receive dental orders against the task order commencing on or about September 26, 2024.

Q7: Will implants parts (custom abutments, analogs, screws) be sent with the case?

A7: No

Q8: Does alloy need to be included in the product or can it be billed as a separate line item?

A8: Can be listed as a separate line item if necessary. How offerors bill is included in the solicitation and must be followed as described.

Q9: What are the factors that will be used in choosing a vendor?

A9: Please refer to Attachment 3 – Instructions to Offerors

Q10: Do we email our proposal to contracting officer Michael.A.Bumgardner@uscg.mil

A10: Proposals are uploaded to Sam.gov Contract Opportunities. Please refer to Attachment 3 –

Instructions to Offerors.
