Combined Synopsis/Solicitation: 70Z02319RPFC00200R

Cruise Services for U.S. Coast Guard Foreign Passenger Vessel Examiner (FPVE) Training Questions and Answers 8 March 2019

Question #1: Could you please tell me if this is a new requirement, or if there is a current or previous contractor who has performed similar services? If available, can you please send along the incumbent contract or task order number?

Answer: A contract was awarded for similar services to Carnival Corporation via purchase order 70Z02318PPFC00100.

Question #2: There seems to be a small discrepancy in the information you have provided from the website. One area says: 8 – double occupancy cabins 4 – single occupancy cabins while the other area states only 6 double occupancy cabins and 4 singles.

Please clarify so we can provide you with accurate number.

Answer: The Government located the discrepancy listed in section 3.0 of the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The PWS was changed to reflect the correct number of double occupancy cabins. This requirement calls for eight (8) double occupancy cabin rooms and four (4) single occupancy cabins to accommodate 20 guest. An amendment will be posted on Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) with the revised PWS document.
