This document is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the United States Secret Service (USSS) Office of Training seeking freight carrier services for shipping palletized small caliber ammunition. The USSS requires a carrier capable of transporting 1-10 palletized shipments weekly, with pallet weights ranging from 100 to 5,000 pounds, to commercial and military ZIP codes in CONUS, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, and Canada. Specific service requirements include lift gate, inside delivery, 24-hour advance notification, scheduled pickup between 0700-1400 hours, In-Transit Visibility (ITV), and the ability to handle 1.4 Hazmat Material (small arms ammunition) and lithium battery shipments.

Potential vendors must maintain appropriate licensing, operating authority, and insurance, with drivers possessing clean backgrounds and no criminal history. The carrier must also register with IPP.gov for digital invoicing, provide software and hardware for Bill of Lading creation, and have drivers capable of loading and unloading palletized shipments. Interested businesses are invited to submit capability statements via email to two USSS procurement contacts: Willie.Bethune@usss.dhs.gov and Shauntynee.Penix@usss.dhs.gov. The RFI explicitly states this is not a commitment to procure and no reimbursement will be provided for submitted information.
