Vendor’s Questions and Answers Q1

A1

I was reading the solicitation, and I didn't notice any section labeled 8.25 and 8.27 with information on Active Shooter Training and Security Training. Is it somewhere else in the solicitation? Do you have any suggestions about how to get this training done?

Yes. It is also mentioned in sections H.30 Security Training and H.35 Active Shooter Training.

The trainings shall consist of viewing the one (1) hour videos which will be provided by the Government.

Q2

A2

We are performing independent research on the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (70LGLY24QGLB00059). We would like to know if this is a brand new contract OR if there is (was) an incumbent performing these services. If not brand new, could you please provide the current / previous contract number? Appreciate any insight you can provide.

70LGLY19PGLB00438: PS UNO LLC, 1800 E EL Dorado Drive, Columbia MO 65202.

Q3

A3

Please provide clarity to the Item No. listed within the SF1449. Also, how does the client want the unit pricing to be delivered for this request, hours, day? It is unclear based on the SF1449 what the client is requesting and requiring.

Historically, the unit price has been per hour.

Q4

A4

They require 10 days to furnish the names of the instructors once the award is given. We would need 30 days to hire and onboard instructors. Is this possible?

A list of names is required in order to allow timely for the security procedures.

Q5

A5

It is unclear on how many classes a week they want. This is the key driver to how we will price this. They only mention a two-hour window to offer classes M-F. Should we assume 10 classes a week or do you have a total number of classes per week that you want?

Currently, there are running (1) 1-hr fitness classes M-F, this may increase over time. Below is the historically data:

Regarding Notice ID: 70LGLY24QGLB00059, Aerobic Fitness Classes, I would like to request clarification on the active shooter and security training required for the instructors. The PWS states that this training will be provided by the government but offerors are required to submit a price for these trainings. May I have insight into the length of the classes, what they entail and the course description?

The trainings shall consist of viewing the one (1) hour videos which will be provided by the Government.

Q8

A8

Also, the quantity of the trainings is listed as 10, does this mean training needs to be done 10 times annually or will the training occur over 10 sessions. Thank you very much!

I am not sure what this question is referring to. If this is referring to Security/Active Shooter trainings, please see Q1/A1. If this is concerning fitness classes, please see Q5/A5.
