Question
Statement of Work requires sewer line from Modular Building 760 to tie-in to existing clean-out located behind Building 682. Because this line has to be sloped for gravity flow, approximately 85% of the sewer line routed from relocated Building 760 to clean-out will be above ground. In addition, there will be limited to no access to the area on the backside of sewer line. Please advise whether screening will be required to hide this aboveground sewer line from view. If screening will be required under this Contract, please advise whether screening will be natural shrubs or bushes. Or will screening consist of some type of wall? Please revise Statement of Work for this project.
Response
Attachment 1 has been updated to include a Sanitary Sewer Plan, in which the sewer line is run underground to the existing sanitary sewer clean out. The sewer line is required to be below ground, thus no screening is required.
8
Question
Request deleting requirement for sewer line tie-in to existing cleanout. Suggest using alternate solution for waste water collection. Recommend locating 500 gal (min.) waste water collection tank behind Building 760. Tank would be located inside a spill containment area for compliance with Environmental safety. This system will require weekly or bi-weekly removal of waste from tank. Actual tank size will be based on facility usage (no. of personnel in facility on continuous basis). Please advise on the use of this alternate system.
Response
The SOW will not be revised to allow for the proposed alternative system. Attachment 1 has been updated to include a Sanitary Sewer Plan, in which the sewer line is run underground to the existing sanitary sewer clean out.
9
Question
Please confirm whether communication and data lines/ equipment currently located in Modular Building 760 will be removed by FLETC. Also, will this work be done prior to the start of this Contract?
Response
The IT will be disconnected and equipment removed by FLETC before work starts.
10
Question
Please confirm that all movable furnishings located in Modular Building 760 will be removed by FLETC. Also please confirm that this work will be done prior to the start of this Contract.
Response
Movable furnishings located in Modular Building 760 will be removed by FLETC prior to the start of this Contract.

Question
For the skirting on the modular unit, are both metal and vinyl acceptable?
Response
Both metal and vinyl acceptable for the skirting.
12
Question
In the interior of the trailer, there is vinyl flooring that must be separated in order to relocate the trailer. With that separation, it is unlikely that the new flooring to reconnect the unit will be an exact match. Is it acceptable to match the color as closely as possible, or is there a spec for the replacement flooring type?
Response
It is acceptable to match the color as closely as possible.
13
Question
Will FLETC be reusing the existing exit signage?
Response
Yes, FLETC will be reusing the existing exit signage.
14
Question
The scope calls for removing a chemical mixing machine from Building 31 and installing it in Trailer 760. Where will it be installed in the trailer? In addition, are there a photos or a description of the machine that can be provided?
Response
Installation of the mixing machine is no longer required. The contractor will install a water supply line in the restroom and a spill container. The SOW in Attachment 1 has been updated to reflect this change.
15
Question
At the new location, the sewer line for trailer 760 will flow to a sanitary utility hole which is located on a higher elevation than the trailer. Will the contractor be allowed to install a sump pump on the sewer line?
Response
The SOW does not call for the use of a sump-pump. The proposal should not include the cost of a sump-pump. Attachment 1 has been updated to include a Sanitary Sewer Plan, in which the sewer line is run underground to the existing sanitary sewer clean out.
