About this file

This document is a Question and Answer addendum to a Request for Quote (RFQ) for portable toilet services under federal contract 70LCHS26QPFB00053 0002.

The Q&A clarifies two key points regarding the scope of services. First, services outside the original contracted statement of work—including unscheduled relocations, emergency pump-outs, vandalism or damage repairs, hurricane or severe-weather removal and reinstallation, and government-requested additional services—will require a separate request for quote to be submitted to the vendor for pricing and approval. Second, regarding facility access, the document specifies that access to the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) is straightforward, while access to Naval Weapons Station (NWS) must be coordinated through the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) due to NWS security requirements, indicating that the access processes differ between the two government facilities covered under this contract.

70LCHS26QPFB00053 0002 REQUEST FOR QUOTE

QUESTION AND ANSWERS FOR PORTABLE TOILETS

QUESTION :

1. Please clarify responsibility and pricing treatment for unscheduled relocations, emergency pump-outs, vandalism/damage, hurricane or severe-weather removal/reinstallation, and Government-requested additional service.

Answer: A request for quote would be submitted to the vendor for services outside of the original contract statement of work awarded such as unscheduled relocations and Government-requested additional service.

QUESTION :

2. I see the "easy" FLETC access but don't see anything calling out the same for the NWS. Will the access process be the same for both FLETC and the NWS?

Answer: Access to the Naval Weapons Station will be coordinated by the Contracting Officer Representative (COR). NWS also has security requirements.
