Questions and Answers 01 in Response to Solicitation #70FB7025Q00000032 – Guam Meal Disposal
1. The Statement of Work specifies the "destruction” of expired meals. Is there a required disposal method (e.g., incineration, landfill, etc.)? Are any specific environmental certifications necessary? Follow local Commonwealth guidelines
2. Please confirm that government personnel will load the waste at the FEMA Distribution Center and that the Contractor’s responsibility will be limited to providing bins(s) and hauling the waste. Contractor is responsible for loading bins, providing bins and any necessary equipment.
3. What is the expected payment timeline following invoice submission? Refer to FEMA OCFO guidelines.
4. Please confirm that only expired meals will be disposed of (yes), pallets will be removed before loading No), and no hazardous material is included within the waste (contains a heating element).
5. Is there a template available for the technical proposal? Technical evaluation was submitted with the proposal.
6. Please provide the estimated volume of waste in cubic yards to allow accurate bin sizing and quantity in our pricing. We utilize tons as a unit of measurement.
