NumberQuestionsFEMA Answers
How we can be a part of the FEMA scheduled transportation?FEMA scheduled transportation means FEMA using their own resources to pick up the water from the vendor’s facility. Vendor storage of water is the main request.
How do we get a copy of the RFP?If this becomes a full requirement the RFP will be posted on FBO
Can we be added to the list?We are not sure what list is being referred to.
Would we be quoting a pickup pricing for emergencies and then other pricing categories for your distribution centers since that would include delivery? Or would actual delivery costs be placed on a separate line item? The intent is for the vendor to maintain the inventory for deployment to a declared disaster. In the event of a disaster/ replenishment requirements, FEMA would contact the POC and coordinate the transprtation requirements.
Other than the DC location, what additional destinations will there be?The vendor will maintain the inventory at their location(s).
How many days would be allowed for each delivery?Ideally, FEMA will arrange for transportation. The vendor should be available to load out over a 24 - 48 hour timeperiod.

Please advise us if you are willing to accept boxed water 1 liter with regards to this requirement.Yes
If not, who is responsible for 1 liter plastic bottles that expire after 2yrs?This is a vendor managed requirement. The vendor would be responsible for all product rotation actions.
Does FEMA destroy the 1 liter plastic bottles of water if you are requiring 1 liter plastic bottles? This is a vendor managed requirement. The vendor would be responsible for all product rotation actions.
Curious as to how the bottled water would be transported?FEMA will dispatch 53' tractor trailers to the vendor(s) location to be loaded. When the event concludes, all unopened trailers will be returned to the vendor.
Would the transportation be provided by the awardee of this solicitation? There is a possibilty that FEMA would ask the awardee to provide transportation. This would be a separate CLIN.
