70B06C22Q00000019 – Questions and Answers
An Offeror’s Questions: “What kind of testing do they want to perform? Example: Instant, self-collect devise, patient service center collection, 5 Panel, 7 Panel, 10 Panel, some other Panel, what drugs are in the Panel, what are the specific locations for testing/collection, who’s collecting.”
Government’s Response:
What kind of testing do they want to perform? U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) isn’t asking for testing to be performed. We are requesting the vendor send in blind sample (pre-determined positives for various substances, adulterated samples, and negative samples) to our laboratory for quality assurance.
What drugs are in the Panel? Marijuana, cocaine, amphetamines/methamphetamines, PCP, Heroin, synthetic opioids, and MDMA/MDA(Ecstasy).
What are the specific locations for testing/collection? CBP is not requesting a collection service. We are requesting premade samples be sent to our testing lab.
Who’s collecting? Collection is not required per the Statement of Work. Rather CBP needs samples to be sent to the lab for analysis.
